Here's some old picts that have sat in a file long enough. It's time to share them!

Nathanael was baptised last year. He was still afraid of putting his face under the water, so we tried to talk him into waiting. He insisted that he should get baptized because that was the first act of obedience for a Christian. How could we argue with that?!!!! He went through baptismal classes with his dad, and did well. We were sure that he understood, but I was sure that he was going to freak when it came time to go under. He let his friend Jim go first and then went right in, but when Terry asked if he was saved he squeaked out "umm, ahhh, nnnooooo". Terry bent down and whispered to him, but I could hear because I was sitting in the front pew. Terry asked if he was scared. A nod, tears flowing. Terry asked if he wanted to wait. A shake, with more tears. Mama's tears are flowing freely by this time, too. Terry asked if he should ask the question again and Nate nodded. To make a long story short, he was baptised. He does know that he is saved, by the by, but he was soooo scared. When he came up out of the water, he was grinning. I snapped a picture, but missed the grin. Mostly because I couldn't see well for all the water in my own eyes.

Mikayla grew her hair out to donate to Locks of Love, an organization that makes wigs for girls going through chemotherapy.

Aunt Lin and Uncle Chris sent the kids these cool t-shirts and socks from Alaska. Thumbs Up!

Our kids raised money for cheer packages for wounded soldiers in Germany. A project we did in Bible School last summer. They sold lemonade on the front lawn. Aren't they cute!!

Here's Lanie-Lou with Amber Rose, her butterfly project last year.
