Michigan or Bust!

It's official! We are headed to Michigan the 17th of this month. The tickets are paid for! The motor home awaits. We are planning to spend Thanksgiving with Tracy and her family, and Terry's folks. Terry will fill the pulpit at the Upcotts church once, too, and we are planning on visiting the new Answers in Genesis Creation Museum in Cincinnati. Tracy has neighbors that go to Florida during the winter, and we are going to stay in their house. How cool is that?!!!! I guess it's kinda cold for staying in the camper. We are going to take the train into Detroit and then drive the motor home back. Much cheaper. This is the first trip that we have made to see family in years. We made a trip to Michigan for Terry ordination back in 1998. Then we went to South Carolina to see Jon, Lisa, and then three week old Ian in 2003. We're very excited to get to go further than New Hampshire for a trip! Our church family has made this possible by collecting a monetary gift for Pastor Appreciation month. They specifically wanted us to be able to go see Terry's family and get the motor home that they gave us. We have no idea if we'll be able to take the motor home anywhere once we get it home, because of gas prices. We'll camp in the back yard. LOL!
